As others have said, it's a basic motel, clean, basic breakfast, no problems, at a good price.
My only complaint: the heater (a combo with air conditioner) lacked a thermostat, so it was either on or off. So when it got too warm in the middle of the night, had to get up and turn it off.
On the plus side, the owners kept our bikes in their garage, no problem.

We stayed at the Frontier Lodge last week, and it was a great little spot. It is the cheapest place to stay in town, according to Priiceline. We requested a king, with no problem. The man at the front desk, who I gathered to be the owner, was friendly. The rooms are very clean and quiet. The continental breakfast was OK, The only thing we didn't like was that there was no juice offered in the morning, just coffee and milk. Would stay again for the price. P.S. Get a sushi roll at the Chinese restaurant next door! Very good food, with a bar!

I stayed a couple of days to tour the area. I found this motel to be a good price, clean, and convenient. The place was basic, but very acceptable. The main thing was that it was fairly new and clean. That goes a long way for me.

The rooms are very clean but I will leave it up to you to decide whether the owner is frugal or cheap. Curtains in the room are not room darkening thus light comes through. You get only two of some of the smallest bath towels I have seen and one washcloth. You get no shampoo or conditioner and two tiny bars of soap. We had to sit near the door with our laptop on a chair to pick up wifi and even then the signal was poor. Breakfast is cold cereal, bagels or English muffins. There is coffee but no juice. For more than budget prices you get less than budget amenities.
My vote is cheap. I also noted how few reviews here are written by people with more than one review. Coincidence - you decide.
