“Run and don't look back! Awful. Awful...”

Run and don't look back! Awful. Awful. Awful. While the outside seems somewhat inviting and the location is good don't be fooled.
I could tell as soon I we made it into the lobby there were going to be issues. While the front desk person was friendly and accomodating (letting us check in early) other than him and the location this hotel deserves negative stars. First impression of the room was that it might be ok. Then I saw the condition of the carpet, stains throughout and even little spots of gum stuck in the carpet everywhere (more on the carpet later) as I removed my shoes, I hadn't even totally put my foot completely on the floor and felt the stickyness of the carpet. So I opted to keep shoes on until bed. Next, I opened the oven to find a mold filled pot o god knows what, but it had obvioulsy been there for no telling how long and through how many guest. So I took it to the front desk where they apologized. Next the walls are disgusting. Someone really needs to start paying attention to detail. It was right about then we decided we were going to check into a different the following morning, until then we thought we could tough it out overnight. The we started to notice that since we checked in the room was not cooling down, the A/C was shot.
Upon getting my little ones ready for bed I noticed the bottoms of their feet were black, from the disgusting carpet. To end the night, I washed my face and had the pleasure of drying my face with a soured, moldy towel. We checked out first thing in the morning.

“Outstanding Service”

Connie and her staff always go the extra mile for the guests. Connie's staff is friendly, knowledgable, ready to assist to the needs of the guest. Everyone has a smile and a warm hello when you walk in the front door.
The Hotel is in an excellent location for highways shopping mass transportation and upscale eating locations are close by within walking distance.
Anyone staying in the DTC area should consider this hotel as they truly go above and beyond for their guests.

“Great place for a family on a budget with children”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 February 2009

My husband and I loved this place. After reading bad reviews online we were very scared about what we were going to get, but it turned out I had mistaken the reviews on this hotel for another hotel in the same chain and very close by--thank goodness!! We were relocating to Denver and knew we wanted to live in the DTC area because of good word of mouth about its convenience to everything. We were also traveling with our 4 month old baby boy and needed somewhere that we could store his baby food, heat up bottles and be comfortable enough (safety wise) to stay the night. The rooms have anything you would need for a multi-night stay and when you're on a budget. We only paid $39/night through a well known discount website and the room was probably worth about $80-$100/night. Our room was newly renovated with fresh paint, new furniture, nice cabinets in the kitchen, newer carpet. The couch was a little uncomfortable but I think that is because it was so new. We never felt unsafe in the neighborhood as well as the fact that you had to have a key to get in the outer door as well as your room. If you're a young family on a budget looking for a great place to feel safe and need the convenience of a kitchen--don't hesitate to book a room here. I will recommend it to anyone I know who is visiting the area in the future!!

“Great Home away from Home, Simple and Functional, Good for families.”

This is a nice and clean hotel. The room is like a small studio apartment with all the amenities to make your trip easy. Full Kitchen, Stove, Oven, Large Frig, Freezer, Microwave, Sink, Table, Bed, Desk, Chairs, Iron Board, Hair Dryer. It was a good place to take a small family since it has convenient amenities and you can cook a full meal. Also we saved money and ate well since we shopped for our own food and cooked so we didnt have to eat junk drive thru or expensive places. Basic place, clean, functional.

  • Liked — Kitchen Amenities, Cost & Value for $, Basic & Functional
  • Disliked — Maintenace little slow, not much staff only front desk persons, 1 maintenace person. Housekeeping only comes for 4night min stay or more.

“Will stay again”

We chose this hotel based on its proximity to the Marriott DTC and the price. We came to Denver for the fourth annual Rocky Mountain Audio Fest. We enjoyed our four night stay. Room 315 had newer furnishings throughout. Only disappointments were 1) no housekeeping service for stays less than six days and 2) no continental breakfast during the weekend.

Close to Target, Wal-mart, Albertson's, Jamba Juice, UPS store (where you can drop off your souvenirs etc for them to pack and ship home, for a fee); numerous eating establishments along Clinton Street and along Arapahoe Road.

We will likely stay here next year.

  • Liked — Convenience to I-25
  • Disliked — Nothing, really.
