When you think getaway think Elkstone. We have stayed at this welcoming place several times. It offers fantastic rooms, spectacular views with warm and gracious owners. We leave wanting to return.

We encourage you to experience it for yourself. My husband and I do not like to recommend places to others, but with Elkstone we are so impressed, we have to share it.

If your on diet, watch out Debbie makes snacks to die for!

When it came time to take a break, I took it at the Elkstone. The atmosphere is peaceful, outdoorsy and comfortable with a touch of class and "home" that Greg and Deb bring with them where-ever they go. They have a marvelous knowledge of the area and can recommend something for just about everyone. They're down to earth individuals who really love what they do and sharing it with their guests (owning the B&B, cooking, gardening, etc.). Deb's "snacks" will tack on pounds you know you don't want but canNOT resist and then the breakfasts are just as delectable. I had to give myself a talk to encourage all the amenities at hand and ward off those evil calories, like taking a soak in the hot tub or having the massage therapist work the calories off. Then a nature walk in their backyard and ending the day in a gorgeous room with a fireplace to lull me to sleep. I always recommend travelers take a break at the Elkstone and it's a place I keep dear in my heart with all the wonderful memories.
