From the moment we checked in the staff was courteous and accommodating. We came up for a boarding trip but loved that this place is in the middle of downtown which allowed us to wander the shops while not riding. The breakfasts were delicious and the breakfast bar had an amazing homemade granola and a delicious homemade granola. The rooms were immaculately clean and even though it may seem a bit weird to stay in a place with so much history you quickly feel at home.
The only drawbacks with the hotel was the additional $20/night we had to pay for our four year old (It wasn't enough of a defractor for us not to stay there). We justified it somewhat with the reasoning that he gets breakfast every morning. The other was that the pillows were too soft for my taste. This makes no difference to me however, next time we stay there we will be bringing our own pillows- problem solved!
Bottom line, this place is perfect for a romantic getaway or a family snowboard weekend!
