I travel frequently for work and usually stay in Hampton Inn hotels. This is by far my favorite. The hotel is in good shape (i.e. not run down), the rooms are comfortable and well decorated, the location is great (a quick walk to downtown), and the front desk staff are top notch.

I agree with everyone that this is the place to stay if you have a convention in downtown Denver. Why pay double the price? This Hampton Inn has everything and the staff is superb! We stayed in June and every single person bent over backwards to make us happy. I had the feeling they would have given us the room for free, if we asked! :) I've stayed in many hotels and resorts, and can say that this was the best. Now the only caveat is that, if you are a woman traveling alone, this hotel is a few blocks outside of the main downtown area, so it's not ideal for walking at night. But during the day is fine and you can take a cab at night. Denver seems to have a lot of panhandlers on the streets, which makes it a little iffy for walking in this area at night. If the hotel would consider a shuttle bus, that would resolve that problem and it would be perfect!

This is a great hotel! Great location, very convenient parking. It is within easy walking distance (or a VERY cheap cab ride) to all the places you want to go downtown.

Walking in the front door, we were immediately impressed by the style and cleanliness. That however was soon over-shadowed by the front desk staff, really warm and professional.

Our room was a king suite. Very large and well laid out. Was perfect to serve as a gathering place for our friends after an evening on the mall and dinner downtown. We had the opportunity to use the business center to print out the ol' Groupons It had three computers, was well appointed and FREE.

I strongly recommend this Hampton!

Not sure how but we jagged 3 nights staying here in a king bed room for under 100 bucks per night.
Our room was super clean and comfortable and had everything we needed as did the hotel itself.
Breakfast was fresh, heaps of variety and filling.
The location is just out of downtown but an easy walk down to the main street to catch to free shuttle.
If you don't want to be ripped off by staying in the centre of downtown this is a great place to stay.
