My husband and I stayed here the middle of May (two nights) and found the hotel manager to be so friendly and helpful, that on our return through the area the following week, we opted to stay another night in Cedaredge, rather than travel on to the next town.

The hotel rooms were VERY clean (I'm rather picky with regard to this) and were well appointed. The breakfast room was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. The hotel was conveniently located and above all, the woman that manages the hotel is very friendly and accomodating! We would definitely return and would highly recommend this facility to everyone who is staying in the area!

When I went to my room it smelled like a smoky old poolroom/saloon. When I complained the desk Jennifer told me it was a no-smoking room and that she could transfer me to another "no-smoking" room but it would smell the same. I opened the single dirty window, cranked up the AC, turned on the blower in the bathroom and went to dinner. I want my money back.

We stayed at this hotel as part of a large group that occupied several rooms over the course of a week.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and responsive to our needs when we contacted them. The condition of the hotel was very good. While we were there, they upgraded the tables and chairs in the breakfast room with new pieces. The breakfast room looks different from the photos available here, so they must have done some remodeling recently as well.

The complimentary breakfasts were very well done. A wide array of choices were available, including belgian waffles, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, cereal, and instant oatmeal. Coffee, two juices, and white milk rounded out the drink choices.

The rooms were a little tight but functional. Refrigerators and free wireless internet access were well appreciated amenities. The pool and hot tub were clean and made for great relaxing times with the kids. Laundry facilities were also available, but not used. The housekeeping staff left us nice notes each day and even made turtles and elephants out of towels as a decoration on the bed. A little rubber ducky by the bathtub was a nice touch!

The only downside to our visit was having to wait for our room to be cleaned at check-in, and the lack of towels in our room on two of the six days. When the lack of towels was brought to their attention, the staff responded immediately and apologized for the error. If not for the fact that this happened two days in a row, I would have given a higher overall rating.

Overall, the stay was very pleasant. I would stay at this hotel again without hesitation.
