We stayed here just for an over-nighter on our way to Nevada. Had made last minute reservations through the BW site and when we checked in, our room upgraded. Too bad we were only staying the one night! The whole property is very nice! We were told it was built about 10 years ago. We had stayed at the other BW right next door a little more than 10 years ago and that one was just okay at that time. This BW Country Park Hotel will be on our list from now on.
Our room was on the 3rd floor, accessible by elevator. Had a nice view of the mountains with a little snow on them. We had a king suite which included a sofa bed & chair (besides the desk chair), a coffee maker, microwave & refrigerator. Plenty of good lighting in the room with a lamp of each side of the bed & one on each side of the sofa. There was a small sink outside the bathroom. Bathroom was large with good sized tub/shower & ample counter space at the sink.
The king size bed was definitely very firm but we did not have any back problems the next morning. Would rather have a too-firm bed than a soft mushy mattress.
Breakfast was good with quite a varied selection. Hot coffee was available after the breakfast room closed.
Overall, we highly recommend this Best Western with its very clean rooms & very friendly staff. We did return here on our way back home & had the same excellent experience as the first visit.
Room Tip: Rooms face either the mountains or railroad tracks. When in the room facing tracks, only heard one...
