What a beautiful inn...the staff excell at everything and go out of their way to please you. Breakfast was divine each and every morning with coffee from a silver pot to edible flowers garnishing your fruit and entree! Just excellent stuff! So glad we found this inn. Our recent stay was the latest of more than a half-dozen over a 20-year period. We stayed one time at the supposed #1 B&B in Sutter Creek and do not agree with that rating. Our accommodations at the Foxes Inn have always been first-class, the breakfast has always been unsupassed, and Main Street is now quieter than it ever was. The staff has carried on the original high standards established by the founders, Pete and Min Fox. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Northern California.

We were travelling in a party of 6 (3 couples) across California on Harley-Davidsons and this was our last but one nights stay before returning to San Francisco via Napa Valley. On check in we were greeted by a wonderful young lady who offered us tea, coffee and homemade biscuits. Our rooms were beautifully decorated each having it's own individual charm. Breakfast was taken in the garden and served by the chef. We all agreed that this was one of the best places we had stayed in and would very much like to return.

We hated to leave. What more can be said. The service, the food, the bed, the room, the quiet and the town made our stay one to remember and talk about. We will return.
