This hotel has very nice rooms with new and updated look. Don't look at the old reviews, this is now a Complete different hotel.
Sebastopol is also a charming little town
My wife and 2 boys stayed at this hotel for three nights during a family get together. The location is perfect, the rooms were up to date and very clean, service was excellent, nice perks. The free breakfast was a huge plus for us as this is a big money saver with a family of four. The breakfast included waffles, cereals, eggs, bacon or sausage (rotated), bagels, danishes, oj, and other items. There was a heated outdoor pool and hot tub but it was too cold for us to use them. I did make use of the workout room - had a treadmill, stationary bike,Step machine, and a workout apparatus that had chest, leg, arm exercises - the machines were a bit antiquated...but who cares. All in all I am very glad we chose this hotel and we will definitely return.
If you are looking for a nice location in the Wine Country that is easy on the budget and provides great value and a good family environment, this is it! Everyone that we encountered at this property were great - helpful, considerate and professional - our compliments to the entire management and staff - they make the experience the best possible one. The hotel has a very wecloming feel, and even though it is a Fairfield and limited service property, it is nearly brand new, provides everything you could ask for. The rooms are large, well laid out, have flat screen TVs, and the beds very comfortable. Our room was fresh and spotless. A very nice benefit was that this property offers a free self-serve breakfast, inclusive of "hot" items - fresh scrambled eggs, sausage, belgian waffles you make fresh - along with the usual continental breakfast items (wide variety of pastries, muffins, cereal, and the like) - a very nice touch, especially for a large family on a budget. Nearby Sebastapol which is highly walkable is a lovely arts community - which offers unique shopping which is mostly local boutiques shops that feature local goods and artists, and almost no national chains. The area also has several farm to table well respected (and highly rated) restaurants and many great local coffee shops. Within walking distance of the Hotel is a Starbucks and a large grocery, and even a Whole Foods...Overall, this was a really nice place to stay - with so much to do nearby - kayaking, hiking, trails, wineries, the beach, as others have said, this Hotel is well situated to be a great jumping off point for enjoying the area and all it offers.
Good place for travelling around the area. Nice quiet reasonably priced hotel with good restaurants in walking distance (I'm English!)
