We like Sebastopol when in the wine country and have stayed at Sebastopol Inn a number of times now. Office staff are very nice and ready to recommend restaurants and places of interest. There's a great little coffee cafe next door for espressos and breakfast also.

Sometimes you just want a friendly, quiet and reasonable place that's well taken care of with plenty of clean towels and comfortable bed , has a nice pool area for a relaxing dip and some sun lounging, and has no unpleasant surprises for you. That's exactly what we found at The Sebastapol Inn and we can recommend it without hesitation. The other reviewers pretty much nailed it. Very nice people that helped us navigate Sebastapol and acted exactly like a gracious host should.

The Sebastopol Inn was a very easy and pleasant place to stay for a long weekend. It is conveniently located within walking distance to downtown. There are a couple good restaurants (Starlight Wine Bar, Hopmonk Tavern) and a cafe (Coffee Catz) that are very close. Room was quiet, spacious and had what I needed.

I stayed here with a friend this weekend, and it was perfect. Relatively inexpensive, yet clean and large rooms, and a surprisingly quiet and well-planned pool area. The owners did their best to make our stay enjoyable - providing advice, dinner reservations, etc. They even provided some (plastic) utensils for a picnic for us, at the last minute - no fuss. There is an obvious pride and friendliness that is refreshing. The rooms won't take away your breath with their beauty, but having a hotelier take a real interest in your travel plans and your stay is very welcome, particularly at this price.
