This was undoubtably the best B&B we stayed in during our trip to California. Jeannette, the owner is a classy lady who makes a mean breakfast and has great tips for places to eat and the best vineyards to visit.
The cottage itself is seperate from the main building and has a really romantic bedroom and adjoining terrace. You'ré well out of town so this place is really relaxing and there's lots of wildlife too.
We missed Jeannette and Raccoon Cottage when we left , how often can you say that?
Some other tips for visitors: Andy's Market is a great place nearby to pick up some snacks & wine and for a meal the Willow Wood Cafe is fab! We rented bicycles in Healdsburg to tour the vineyards, it worked great. My tips- Dry Creek vineyard is super for Zinfandel, Iron Horse for Champagne and Trentedue for Port. And if you are a bit more adveturous, take a horse trek with Redwoodhorses.com in the Armstrong Redwoods State Park.
