This hotel has a great vibe. It is the perfect hotel for the area - casual and cool. The rooms are well appointed with super comfy beds. I loved the location and the price was very reasonable. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our special requests. Great pool. I can't wait to go back!

Stayed at Shore Hotel this past weekend for a quick Cali trip. Location was amazing, right across from the beach and Santa Monica Pier. Not even a 5 minute walk. Third Street Promenade was very close as well. Modern and comfortable atmosphere. Rooms even if a tad small are a good size and very clean. We had the Ocean View room with a balcony. We loved sitting on the balcony and people watching or to look at the ocean. Can be a bit noisy from the street with the sliding door open, but with it closed most of the noise was blocked out (we were on the 3rd floor). Bed was comfortable. No bathtub in bathroom, which was fine by me. Shower was a good size - remember you need to press the button on the wall to the right to have the shade come down for privacy. No items in mini bar so you can use it for your own things. Plenty of closet and drawer space. Front Desk agent was polite and called after we checked in to make sure everything was ok with our room. Parking is convenient and expensive at $30 a night. There is free WiFi. Not sure if In Room Dining will be coming along with the restaurant this year?! Great Find!

Great new hotel in wonderful location right across the street from the Santa Monica Pier. The staff was very helpful and accomodating (especially our friendly Bell Hop). The rooms were wonderful-loved the see thru showers (they do have a privacy curtain). They do not have a restaurant but we had the most wonderful experience at Ivy at the Shore Restaurant located a few steps away from the hotel.Would definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

I stayed there this week for work with my mom. My mom checked in early and they were so nice to make sure she was all taken care of. The lobby is sleek and the staff was friendly and accomadating. They gave us lots of suggestions on where to eat, shop, etc. The Bell Hop could not have been nicer or more helpful with my mom.

The room was very nice. I had asked (and paid for) a Supreme Ocean View and we got the pool view. It was cloudy so we couldn't really see the beach anyway, but that was a slight disapointment as I was told at booking I would have one of the rooms above the street with really good beach and pier views. When I asked they said they didn't have two doubles on that level. I wish I would have know that before or I would have asked for a pool view and paid a little less :). The pool view was really nice as it is a modern,simple pool but with really fun lighting with fire. If it were a summer, sunny day, the view would have been much better (not the hotels fault).

The beds were very comfortable with nice bedding. The shower was just heavenly. The privacy screen was funny and we used it. The noise that other complained of we didn't experience. The sliding door to the balcony was sound proof. When it was shut, we simply couldn't hear outside at all. I did hear that alarm in the room next to me, but I do at almost every hotel I stay at.

if you are there for work, keep in mind there was limited cell service unless I was on the on the balcony. I have ATandT and my mom has TMobile. We both had problems. They did have wifi, so that was helpful.

Over all we really enjoyed our stay. I would be back for a fun romantic weekend with my hubby. Lastly, one of the meanist and I mean meanist ladies I have ever seen attacked (verbally) the front desk staff late at night as she was checking in. They handled it so perfectly. Even when she threw her luggage at them. The training must have been spot on to handle such a situation.
