Do not stay here! Besides it being two blocks from the boardwalk IT SUCKS. I reserved a two bed room for my family and when we drove all the way there they gave it away. I asked what happend and they said it was their mistake. It was a saturday night and everywhere was booked so I asked what they did have available...she said they only had one bed. I said I would take it because i had two small children with me but asked if she could give a discount or sumthn because my husband would have to sleep on the floor. She said $5 off HAHA WTF so rude. Couldnt believe it we paid 100 bucks for a one bed and to sleep on the floor Also there was a tv in front of the room on the floor and the one in the room had no cable. The a/c unit was disgusting and there was a huge gap under the front door. Also besides the room charge they want you to give a 20 cash deposit for the key. NEVER AGAIN and I suggest u stay away from here too

“Old, filthy and worn - but friendly staff”

This place really has not much going for it; the rooms are small, the furniture is broken or worn, there are hardly any lightbulbs that work, and the door did not close properly. Santa Cruz is a popular holiday spot, and rooms may be hard to come by. The motel has a conveniant property, the board walk is within walking distance. The staff was also very friendly, but a major update of the rooms are over due!
