Stayed one night in the Craftsman building. Adorable, quite room. Very comfortable beds and I loved the decor. TV was huge and the DVD player was nice touch. We rented a movie from a Redbox but they also have a DVD collection in the lobby. Everyone was very friendly and I was impressed by the breakfast. It had a B&B quality about it. Would highly recommend this place.

My mom and I had the pleasure of of staying here for two nights in late August, 2014.
From the moment I checked in, to the moment I checked out, the experience was flawless.
We stayed in the Craftsman lodge, and it was perfect. Big room, huge tv, wonderful bathroom microwave, fridge. The room was spotless, and the attention to detail was impressive. Complimentary full breakfast - homemade waffles, fruit - you name it. It will be the only place I stay in SLO.
No need to look any further. Just enough out of town (5 minute drive to the action), to avoid crazy parking issues. It really is a great place. I highly recommend it.

A real (positive) surprise in SLO. The access / location is good just a bit out of town. The rooms are huge and a bit European medieval in style which is fun. Large bathroom with two sinks cuts down on the morning conflict on a long trip. The staff were very helpful and the freshly prepared breakfast was good.

Thank you for staying with us and thank you for taking the time to write this review. We appreciate it! Our three buildings are styled in completely different ways so I hope you have a chance to visit us again in the future and perhaps try a different building.

Thanks again for the review, and have a wonderful Fall season!

What a GREAT place! We booked this place on a whim after the place we were staying in Big Sur was a dump. I'm so glad they had availability. We stayed in the Chestnut room and it was perfect. Nice, spacious room with a big, comfortable bed. Big bathroom with two sinks. Everything is updated and very clean. The breakfast was also wonderful. It's located in the heart of 'motel row' as we called it, but it is definitely a gem mixed in. Be prepared to walk 15-20 minutes to town, but we were more than ok with that. I would highly recommend staying here!

The room was nicely furnished, clean and in good condition. The staff were courteous, the breakfast met expectations and the grounds were well maintained. The only thing keeping the this stay from the fifth star was that the air conditioner made an annoying noise for 50 minutes when it was initially started. Then about 10 minutes the next day.
