Having spent the previous night at another Days Inn at a cheaper price we were a bit surprised to find this one was much more expensive at $80 + tax. The hotel is very tired, run down and sad and needs a good clean. Being tired we decided to stay and cannot complain about the service from front desk staff. He was extremely polite and pleasant but if we weren't tired we should have kept on going.

hello my name is lewis martin and when i came from texas with my wife and kids i stayed with my mom in law an i tell you somethang i moved out and moved here with my wife and kids yeah its not the best but it keeps a roof over my kids and wife and my head so iam going go and say its no way would i say this place has treated me and my family with respect and have done a hell of a job helping us out yeah it is les then a 10 star or 5 star but iam happy

Manager was VERY RUDE!!! I checked in and went to see my room, it was disgusting. Very dirty and there were bugs all over the bathroom. I checked out right away and demanded a refund. But the Manager was very rude and a racist person. He did not give me a refund.

Very bad experience. Poor reservation management by hotel's website. You reserve, they later call you saying that they don't have what you booked online. They cancelled that and reserved what they said is 15 miles near. Which turned out to be 29.9 miles away. Would not cancel because its against their cancellation policy even though it is their fault.. The quality of the hotel is poor. I will not recommend nor stay in days inn period. Don't waste your money. There are more out there for better quality and money.

I have stayed at this hotel many times and wish to say it is NOT haunted!!!! The manager and his wife are very nice to me as I am traveling alone most of the time to help with my son there. They provide me with service and a smile.
One must remember traveling is different in different locations and if you wish to see something scary, go to foreign countries on your own!
San Jose has grown tremendously over many years and is very diversified. This site is convenient to the freeway and other locations if you get a map!
Oh yes, I am white, female, and older, but that doesn't stop me. As the old saying goes, travel is enlightening, unless you are narrow minded. Try staying somewhere is a low-cost hotel on 1st St. in San Jose, that is more interesting.
