When we checked in, by the look of the neighbors, it's scary. One Mexican guy who looks illegal hanging out by the stair on the phone sounds like he's doing a drug transaction. Another room with curtain open as if they want to show off their low class no job lifestyle. Guy with hoodie, tatoo, cigarratte, you name it. This motel got all those low class scary charactors walking around. The room has only 1, I mean ONE small soap; no shampoo, no plastic cup, and broken shower with no water!! The best part was when the front desk Pakistan guy says "Nothing I can do about the shower, you'll have to wait until tomorrow".

This motel is HORRIBLE!!!! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!! We checked in at around 11:00pm and were told the only available room was the disabled room for a total of $68.39. Already you could tell that this motel is in a bad area as checking in was from the outside with the stupid uncaring hotel clerk behind glass counter. And a police car was parked near one of the rooms watching some guys standing outside their rooms. The police later came to the clerk to inquire about a particular guest and how long they were staying.
As soon as we opened the door to the room, the odor of cigarette smoke and unclean musty carpet smell pummelled our senses. You could see that the room stinked of dust, sweat, grime and smoke and did not get a regular cleaning. When we opened the airconditioner to let the room air circulate, the odor became worse from the musty smelly carpet and room. Horrible and so dirty and filty!

I immediately went back to the outside window for the clerk and told him we were not staying in that dirty and smelly room and for him to refund me our payment. Mind you, this clerk was very indifferent and did not bother to ask why and just gave a shrug when I told him the room was very dirty and smelly. And while he was shuffling inside the office walking from the credit card machine/cash register to the window, I saw him walking without his shoes on and the carpet as dirty as the room I saw.
Gosh, so gross as you could see how dirty his feet was too from the dirty carpet! I would not be suprised if that motel was infested with bugs and various kinds of vermin from how unsanitary and dirty the upkeep was.
I do not write reviews but I had to write this to warn everyone about staying in this one particular Motel 6! This is one big dump of a motel and I have stayed in a lot of better Motel 6 places for cheaper and found them to be well maintained and clean. This one is a dump and should be avoided at all costs!!!

I am waiting for the refund of the $68.39 I paid thru my credit card for this dump. I will also be writing a letter to Motel 6 corporation to let them know what a disgrace this place is to their name.

After finding out the the motel that we were originally going to stay in ( my mother, my husband, my sister and her boyfriend) was a complete dump, because my mom flew out a say earlier than us, we decided to quickly change the reservation.

We chose this motel because of the central location and the fact that they said they had upgraded it.

My mom only stayed one night after she saw the San Jose police knocking on doors, and the hotel clerk told her that there was no more toilet paper available. My sister and her boyfriend had to change rooms and found out that both were dirty, had broken plumbing, and also lacked toilet paper, they did not stay the night despite us getting in from an extremely delayed flight and having to check in around 4am.

My husband and my room was ok, but the carpet was filthy, the bedding had a rip, and there was no bathtub.

We discovered the next morning that people were living at the motel with there pets and the pool was being renovated which was never mentioned online or when I changed my reservation.

We were there for a funeral and to say our goodbyes to a close relative who is going to pass away anyday.

I was hoping to get better rest which was much needed, but in such a gross place, it was hard to do that.

Don't bother staying here, it's not worth a penny of your money, there are much nicer and more accomidating motels and hotels in the area.

I apologize for the lateness of this review. I have been in the hospital suffering from a breast infection since the trip. I am a nursing mother so it has taken a toll on my body.

On May 11th I stayed at your Motel 6 San Jose Airport Central location at 1440 North 1st Street, San Jose, CA 95112. I was in room 104 with my Aunt Laura *&^^&, Aunt Sherri *&^%^%* and my daycare provider Deborah &*^%%&.

My Aunt Sherri is a Standford cancer patient. The only time she normally comes to the area is for bad news, so we wanted to change that. She had to visit the medical center but we first took her shopping and then attended a very fun class the next day on the internet.

We were intially going to stay at your Brokaw location but they did not offer a refridgerator for Aunt Sherri's medical supplies and my breast milk. Needless to say when we initally got to the hotel around 5PM or 6PM we dropped off our bags to go eat. The room seemed OK. At the time lit from the open doorway. Upon reurning we quicly realized this was not the case. Since it was evening we were stuck.

As we examined the room we noticed the floor was filthy. My infant son had to stay on the bed. Of course the beds were not any better. Luckily I brought blankets from home for him to lay on and under. The pillows looked like the maid had literally turned them to their good side. the wall attachment for the iron and board was empty. For a two bed room there was only 1 set of towels. When we asked for more we were given 3 large dry towels. No hand or face towels. We reported our sink stopped up and were told nothing could be done until the morning. (This was discover when I tried to wash my infant son face and the sink began to fill up with hair and other things. Thank God he did not get a foot infection.)

The bathroom wall was painted a red color but looks to have been painted over mildew. There was no coffee maker and when we inquired about a remote for the TV, 4 were sent but none of them worked.

My Aunt has a weakened immune system. Your company is lucky she seems to have not been affected or you would have a lawsuit. That was ridiculoous. Please be advised.
