I stayed a few nights at the Fairfield this month, and it was exactly what one would expect. My room was very clean and very spacious, but was really nothing more than a very clean and a very spacious room. The service was fine, the breakfast was okay+, the internet connection worked well, etc.

The proximity to 101 is beneficial too.

Bottom line: if you're in a business trip in the bay area, consider this place.

We recently stayed here. We stayed in a handicapped room which we requested. The handicapped room was ok although the air conditioning system was working correctly. The room was very, very far from the elevator. For someone who is in a wheel chair this would be ok. But for me, who can walk short distances, it was ridiculous!!
I don't think we would stay here again!!

Stayed at this Fairfield with a colleague for a week of meetings. Lets categorize this property as a deluxe motor inn. I don't say this to demean the hotel, since it essentially falls within a certain classification of accommodation.

Bear in mind also the backside rooms abut a local airport, so you'll hear those pistons and propellers churning from 6AM onward till dusk. The front faces a very busy Bayshore fwy, so you make the choice which side stay on.

Regarding the accommodations, average but very spacious. And you do get more than enough comforts for the price. We had a suite with generic, franchise like furniture. Not the most comfortable, especially the coach which doubles as a pull out, was well worn.

Free wifi (though did experience an outage lasting close to an hour at one point), free coffee, continental breakfast, free parking. In summary, a good value.

Stayed with the whole crew: 2 adults and 2 children. You get what you'd expect from a Marriot: clean rooms, decent hotel. You also get what you'd get from a Fairfield: no luxury, no frills. Breakfast options are OK for free, but need a larger breakfast room, as it gets crowded pretty easily. Did not have any noise issues, as mentioned in previous reviews.
