I literally came in to sleep and got up and left. The hotel is perfectly location for the Capitol & Convention Center. Parking was free with the room. My room on the 6th floor was very quite. I was given two double beds instead of the king that I had requested. By the time I got upstairs to see that I felt it just wasn't worth the hastle to make a change. Bed was very comfortable. Room temp was perfect as was the lighting in the bathroom. I wish that room service breakfast could have been ordered earlier. (Not matter as a full Starbucks is right next door.) I would definately stay again for an event at the convention center.

We stayed here on a Friday night in early September. The hotel is in a nice location; directly across the street from the state capitol and a beautiful park. Several restaurants in the busy and vibrant mid-town area are within walking distance from the hotel.

Check in went smoothly. The front desk agent was very efficient and very nice. She gave us some great recommendations for dinner in the mid-town area which were within walking distance from the hotel. The lobby was in the final stages of a remodel and it looked beautiful.

The room was modern, clean and very spacious. We had a little balcony with a view of the capitol which was very pretty at night. The bathroom was also quite modern, spacious and nicely stocked with shampoo, soaps, etc. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet.

Our package included the breakfast buffet. It was just ok; a typical buffet where there is an abundance of mediocre food. While the buffet is OK, If you have the time, I would suggest finding another breakfast location.

That being said, I would definately stay here again!

Just got back from a three day conference in Sacramento. Enjoyed the great location of this hotel. It is directly across the street from the Capitol. Capitol Park is a perfect place to stroll through or walk the one mile around the perimeter for your morning exercise. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the staff was very accomodating. The outside patio area with all of the fire pits was a nice place to socialize. We were able to walk to Old Town Sacramento. Maybe a three mile roundtrip walk. Very fun little town. The bar was very comfortable and had a nice happy hour. Ate at Dawson's in the hotel and the food was superb! Also, you could order anything to eat at the bar if you just wanted to relax and watch a game or all of the people strolling by the lobby!

We stayed here 4 nights for a convention and it was just great! The hotel was very clean and beautifully set up. The pool area and fire pit/bar area were so inviting --- you could just linger there all evening. Also within walking distance to a lot of good restaurants and you felt very safe in the area. It only took us 5 minutes to walk across the street to our convention which was amazing. The staff was exceptional - just can't say enough good things about this place.
