This is next-door to the Super 8 motel, which I have also stayed at. This one is newer, and a little more higher-end. Still a low-end motel, but good for the price. Since it's fairly new, the typical room smell is not as bad as some, much less offensive than the Super 8. Only problem I had was that the foam pillows were too firm and hurt my neck. I ended up getting my own pillow out of the car. Room has a small fridge. Bathroom counter has space for all the travel toilietries. With the senior discount it was not much more expensive than its neighbor, I think about $15 more. However this one does not have a pool as does the Super 8.

I stayed at this hotel for two days with my son because of a family funeral. The bathroom is covered in dangerous black mold and the ceiling has flaking, peeling, residue falling from it. The toilet sink was broken, and nearly caused my son to crash his head into the bathtub. The maid never showed up the second day but told the front desk she had. The broken down car parked in front of my room was alarming, but the front desk said it was a woman who just had an accident. Then, the final straw which caused us to end our trip early was the obviously stolen (popped locks, broken window) car that pulled in and occupied the room next door. At 3 in the morning, the person started smoking; by 5, it smelled like the guy was smoking in my room. As soon as I got my son up and moving, we left, and I only came back to check us out. We cut the visit short and went and slept on a family member's floor instead. If there had been anywhere else to stay, we would have! Motel 6 is even a better option than this motel!!
