Our entertainment company Sona Entertainment stayed at this lovely hotel. We we impressed by their excellent service and their friendly staff and management. They have a great contanetial breakfest to and the excellent attention they pay to each and every costumer. The room are very clean and very cofortable. They give you the home town feeling even when you are from out of town ... I give them 5 star rating as we travel far and wide and the Comfort Inn & Suites of Rancho Cordova is one of the best places we have stayed. By far the cleanest and friendlest estabishment we have stayed at.... Sona Entertainment

On this trip I had decided to stay at the Comfort Inn in Rancho Cordova because I needed to get to my next assignment very early and didn't want to drive far. At first I was worried about the hotel, but soon found it to be very nice. The front desk people were nice. I found that the Owner was the on site Manager who spoke to me each day. Most importantly, the rooms were recently refurnished. Not only did I enjoy my stay, I decided to talk to the Sales Director who happily helped me establish a Corporate Account with a fixed rate. Boy, you would have never guessed by passing by. I found my new 2nd home.

When I came to California my flight got messed up and my work day was not planned right so coming to the hotel I was a bit on the snappy side. The girl at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful, she seemed sincere when she wanted to make my day better. I got to the room and it was very comfortable and I was able to get the rest of my work done. The room was clean and never had an issue with my stay. The breakfast was nice and the pool was a plus since it was so hot outside! I was there for a total of 4 days and it was wonderful they completely turned my trip around once I got to the hotel! I will for sure be coming back to this hotel.

If you're like me, you probably gloss over the bad reviews of a place that has mostly good reviews and is a good deal. Please don't do that here. It's simply not worth the risk. And here's why...

When I first arrived, my bathroom light had burned out. I figured that maybe it had *just* burned out, so I went to the front desk and they came immediately to change out the light. In reality, not only was the light already burned out, but the shower was broken, the bath had never been cleaned, and the hairdryer was also broken.

I found out all of this in the middle of the night. The night before, I'd tweaked my shoulder and neck. I didn't realize how badly I'd hurt myself until I awoke at 3:30am in intense pain. I decided the best thing to do, in absence of Motrin, was to get in the hot shower.

Lo and behold, when I tried to run the shower, the knob came off easily in my hand and the only water I got was a few droplets seeping from the broken controls. It became immediately clear that the tub hadn't been cleaned. I called the front desk and explained the problem. The guy offered to give me another room. When I explained that I was in too much pain to pack up my stuff and move elsewhere, I asked if he could just give me the key to that other room so that I could get into the shower for my injury. He refused. I asked if he'd help me move. He refused. I asked if he had any Motrin, for crying out loud. He said no.

I eventually fell back to sleep for about an hour and had nightmares.

When I got up early the next morning to check out, I talked to the same guy. He was still at the desk. He told me I couldn't get a discount because I'd booked through "Expedia." (I hadn't. It was Hotels.com, who still hasn't posted my review.)

I tried to pursue a claim with Hotels.com, only to find out that the night guy NEVER RECORDED my complaint. Further, he gave me misleading information on how to contact the hotel manager. Hotels.com couldn't verify anything with the hotel so I wound up settling with Hotels.com directly. It was ridiculous.

Please don't stay here.
