My wife and I were greeted by the receptionist with friendliness and charm, but the hype of the waitress was off-putting. She wore a fake smile and was condescending and arrogant. It was hard to form an objective opinion about anything else in the wake of this adversity. As nearly as we could tell, the food ranged from very good to excellent, superb in one instance (a green salad). There was a push to sell wine and nearby tables contained obnoxious parties with telltale signs, through inconsiderate noise and boisterousness, of too much to drink. We thought it was a little pricey, given the total ticket relative to what we thought we had gotten in tiny-- sometimes--more generous in others, bits and pieces. I can't give this restaurant less than four stars on one visit, because of the food, but I doubt we'll rush back for the condescension. My closing thought is that if you're really the "hot snot," you try to buttress with pretense, then the food and service should be allowed to speak for themselves. A nose raised in the air detracts from the experience and the winoes are offensive.
