We stayed three weeks with our dog AND cat, while waiting for our house to clear escrow. We were always greeted with a smile. Our room had a small coffee maker, micro, and refer which made it easy to eat meals in the room to save money. They offer free soap, shampoo, etc. If you are looking for a spotless, roomy, and fancy room...this is not the place. This is for folks who want budget, family friendly, and convenient. There is a mini-mart and diner within walking distance. This inn has a convenient location right at the bottom of town. Close to Chico, yet a world away.

I visited my parents with my wife and I must say that the place was beautiful. It snowed very lightly during our stay and was not a problem to drive in, but it made the entire town very scenic. The place is in lower altitudes than the rest of the town so the snow was much heavier (but not enough to require chains) as you go up through the city. The owners were nice and the town was very quaint. I definitely recommend this place to whomever wants a nice quite place to stay.

Motel is old but very good condition. Rooms are very clean and comfortable beds. Price is comparable in Paradise. I reserved a room for a business trip. Restaurant across the street gives 10% discount to there guest. On my next trip, I will defiantly stay at the Paradise Inn.

The price was good, the reviews favorable, so I booked it. The man at the property nicely said I could check the room, then decide if I wanted it or not. I checked it and saw that the furnishings were fine for the price, the bed firm, and so I said I'd take it.

NEXT TIME I check a room, I'll shut the door and sit in it for a minute.

Five minutes after I'd moved in, some noisy neighbors went out for a smoke, talk and cough. They didn't really do anything wrong - it's just that the walls stopped NOTHING. They were doors down, and it was as if they were directly in front of my room, yelling. Also, the constant roar of traffic sounded just as close. So I cut my stay to one night and decided to buy ear plugs.

The ear plugs dulled the traffic, but did nothing for the people out in the parking lot yelling at each other, coughing, honking (!), and running back and forth - for a half an hour, from 11:15-11:45ish pm!

When I told the gentleman at the counter about it on checkout, he shrugged and said "they must have been doing something." Well... yeah. Not letting me sleep, for one.

I'm definitely in favor of saving money, but nothing else is much fun if you can't sleep.
