Tv still so old: it has a TUBE! (not that we spent that much time in room); nowhere 2 put luggage: no luggage rack or closet (no where 2 hang clothes). Can tell was recently painted. Walls very, very thin (neighbors told us so) and doors can be opened with a hairpin (not security doors in any means). can't call it a breakfast; couldn't even get coffee til after 8am when the office opens back up. No ameneties in the room (save a hair dryer); and not really sure why the mini microwave or refrig is even in the room at all. No space; the room is arranged poorly. Saying all that it was clean. Our room had no screen on front window, no vents in bathroom save the window that was faced the street and passers by could see directly in.

I thought it will be a bad stay from the reviews but i was wrong! Neal was a great host and it seemed as though we were at home rather than a Motel! The rooms were clean and the fairground is right infront of us! Great value!

Among one of the worst motels we've stayed in the US.
Room was very small and there were buggers on the wall right next to the bed. Walls were very thin so you could hear almost everything going on in the rooms next to you.
After a night with little sleep, we were presented with the most ridiculous breakfast I've seen - coffee, a croissant and a cake. And you had to eat the breakfast in you tiny room without any table.
We have stayed in a lot of budget motels/hotels during our three week roadtrip and this was the worst.

The bayside Inn is a inexpensive and cosy place. We are an austrian couple and stayed there twice in Januay 2011.
We staced as backpackers at first and returned with a rented car. The staff is friendly and so is the management. We had a great time there. The people at the Bayside Inn are helpful and well informed. Way to go!!!
