We were on a road trip and spending most nights in a tent when we arrived in Modesto late on a hot August afternoon. There was nowhere to set up camp and we had to look for somewhere else to stay. The Days Inn had a room for our family and although we were skeptic at first , it turned out to be a clean and affordable oasis! Spotless! The next morning we went to see what the" included breakfast" was like - expecting no more than a dry muffin and a green banana (from previous experience at other similar establishments) and had another very pleasant surprise! Yes , it was polysterene bowls and plastic cups , but there was a good choice of cereals and fresh milk , bread , pastries and fruit as well as juice and coffee , self-serve with available clean seating, TV and newspapers if you wanted to catch the early morning news. Overall , very good value for money.

Good customer service Accomodating, courteous, friendly. Very inexpensive. Shop online to get good prices. If you stay for three days or more, you get a 20% discount through Days Inn website.
Breakfast bar was perfect for our needs.
Clean room and bathroom. Fridge and microwave a big plus. Nice roomy closets. Big room with two twin size beds and lots of space to walk around.
Quiet surroundings and close to CVS, Safeway, and restaurants.
Highly recommend if you want something that's centrally located without being too close to downtown. We were here for a speech and debate tournament and would gladly stay at this hotel again.

Older motel - nice Chinese Bistro out front. Not too far from downtown and close to a nice shopping area. New Breakfast room. Lobby nearly finished with remodel. Liked the meeting room. Sleeping rooms are clean and adequate but not fancy. Desk folks are awesome.

If I had listened to most of the reviews, we would not have stayed here. But we were needing economical accommodations, and this motel is located close to the hospital we were using. So we took our chances, and we were pleasantly surprised. In fact, we are returning here on our next check-up visit. Our room was spacious and clean, and they are building a new breakfast area. Just as important as cleanliness is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. All those we had contact with were great. Two who come to mind are Michael and Veronica. If you do stay here, ask for directions to Mexicali Grill. I'm from El Paso and I know good Mexican food. This is the best! Good Luck.
