From the homebaked cookies to the interesting various magazines in your room, over the great restaurant the, spacious rooms the friendly service, the familiar feeling, ... apart from that:the: location is just great.
No need for a Swedish guest to feel forced to use your car every night. Farmers market, excellent restaurants on 3rd str, and movie theaters within walking distance. Don´t miss this place

I stayed in the Farmer's Daughter almost thirty years ago with my family. I remember it being very standard motel style. The pool was in a dark gated area and it was a very mediocre experience. Now that one of my kids lives here I come fairly regularly to LA. I was going to stay elsewhere this trip but the kids suggested Farmer's Daughter. I had mixed feelings about trying it again. Anyway, it was very cute.
I was greeted with hot apple cider and freshly baked cookies. The lobby was done in the farm style theme. The elevator was copper and classy. The room had the same farm theme. The bed was good. Shower was good . But the overall effect was kind of done on a budget; one piece shower bath, curtains needed another panel. No shower cap, door on the closet or full length mirror. There are outdoor sitting areas for smokers and fresh air and a nice restaurant adjacent. All in all nice but overprice for $180+ a night.

Stayed here for business and was nothing short than impressed! Rooms were clean and quiet. Great location for everything LA. Great food and loved the bar. Staff was as nice as it gets. Coming back for sure. Thanks.

We visit Los Angeles about 5 times a year and either stay in Santa Monica or here at the Farmers Daughter Hotel. Easy and convenient to get to the Farmers Daughter is a perfect spot
for traversing Los Angeles. The rooms are really clean and well done, nothing fancy but they are perfectly appoiinted. The restaurant downstairs is really good and well priced and the staff
goes out of their way to accommodate you. Really great folks. They saved us a paper in the morning too. The additional charge for parking is fair and the car is always easily available.
We actually like it better each time we visit!
