I recently spent 5 nights at this Marriott Residence Inn located near Palo Alto. The room was clean, odor free, and the housekeeping staff did a great job of straightening up after me. The free breakfast was good and usually included eggs, bacon, cereal, fruit, yogurt and pastries. The hotel provided a happy hour each night with complimentary beer and wine. The Marriott is within walking distance to several strip shopping centers and Whole Foods market which is convienent if you plan on taking advantage of the full kichen in the room.
It's about a 10 minute drive to Stanford University and downtown Palo Alto.
The pool area looked nice, however it was too cold to take advanage of. All in all, a solid Residence Inn.

This hotel is really a wonderful place to stay, the room is spacious,clean and airy, it's located in a quiet place, the facilities are great, breakfast is very good with lots of choices.
I would stay here again next time.

This hotel was really dissapointing me. It was an ugly design and a very old kitchenette, although the hotel was supposed to be new. The fridge was so loud that i had to unplug it, otherwise I would have not been able to get any sleep. The bathroom was also strange. no window, only toilet and bath tub and the sink was seperate.

I stayed there for 10 days in April 2010. We chose this because we needed a place with a kitchen and should be nice too. Residence has very good pool and spa pool, a lawn tennis court too. Pet friendly though we did have one!. Serves free breakfast though limited choices for vegeterians. Has guest laundry facility which is pretty decent. Has free wifi too.
Location is great, easily accesible.
Staff is friendly and helpful.
