“Little bit of relaxation”

The weather was perfect which helped to make this resort a wonderful experience. Excellent spa and exercise facility. Loved the open door workout room and the helpful pilate and stretch class instructors. I used the spa twice while I was there and had relaxing experiences both times. There is an 18% surcharge on spa services which covers tips. My only complaint about the facility is that the bed was older and had indentions. So if you are looking for a firm mattress you might ask specifically for a room with a firm or newer mattress. Other than that it really was a wonderfully sunshine trip! My husband attended business meetings during the day and when I met him for lunch I was suprised to find that the food was very fresh and tasty. Food and drinks around the pool were also fresh. Staff was helpful and courteous. Overall great stay!

Room Tip: Our first room overlooked the parking lot so we requested to more to a room overlooking the pool are...

“Best Hotel in Indian Wells”

The rooms and bathrooms are large, the staff is fantastic and the grounds are gorgeous. Everything seems new and fresh and really spotless. We really enjoyed the tequila bar (too much?) and the breakfasts. While the guys enjoyed the golf courses, the "girls" went to thier Spa which is the perfect mix of luxury and comfort. I had a 90 minute hot stone massage with Carlos, who was fantastic, and we stayed after and took steams and sauna's. The facilities are wonderful and the attendant was lovely and informative After your service enjoy an outdoor shower and scone. heaven.
We booked a 2 bedroom Villa, which gave us two master bed and baths and a living/dining room with a fireplace, fridge and microwave. It also has a great patio area with a private hot tub. heaven.
The resort fee is standard now for all hotels, it did at least cover wifi and tennis.
Enjoy.

Room Tip: Check out the Villa's, you may pay a little extra but you get tons of extra space and you'll...

“One of the best resorts in the desert”

We have been going to this resort for years and have always enjoyed our stays. This is the first time we have ever stayed in the Villa's and we were blown away. They are outstanding. It was like staying in an upscale country club villa. We stayed in a two bedroom 1900 sq ft villa with a view of the water and the mountains. Wow. We had two teenage girls with us and it was like they were in another villa. They had there own entrance and could come and go without bothering us. The decor was top notch and the beds were unbeliveably comfortable. We will never stay in a normal room again, it was not much more than purchasing two rooms which we normally do.

Room Tip: Some of the villa's are more secluded if you want peace and quiet and others have fantastic view...

Stayed here in January for 5 nights, my husband and I, 2 kids and my 76 year old mum. As all the reviews say, the entrance is very promising, but the interior and lobby definitely lack any visual appeal. We stayed in a penthouse and my mum stayed in a ground floor room just near the pool which was fine for her. Spacious and clean... The penthouse was suitable, offered fantastic views, but was so dusty and never seemed to be cleaned properly I sneezed the whole time. The scenery and vista and general location is what this place has going for it... The bikes were the most fun for the children, they also enjoyed the pools. The Oasis pool/spa was lovely for us after hours... The food at Lantana was inedible!! Huge waste of money!! Agave was generally pretty good. The best food was at the Cafe out by the pool. Was disappointed with the service though... you had to go up to a server to get them to take your order and, when finished, the food would sit there forever, despite several servers walking by... The birds had a field-day!! Thank goodness for the Falcons who were always on their tails! Despite these minor issues, I was fully aware this wasn't a "Four Seasons" Hotel but we had a really lovely time... Spa was lovely and the workout room was ample. Could have a better games room for the kids. F.Y.I. Resort fee just pisses me off!! Build it into the cost of the room - hate being charged extra... Have stayed at several resorts around the world and have never had that before??? I am in LOVE with Indian Wells, it is quite stunning... If you are a golfer this is the mother ship!! The staff out front, valet, etc... were by far the friendliest by the way... As a first-timer to the area I was unsure of where to stay. Booked both The Westin and The Renaissance, but cancelled because of poor reviews. Definitely think we made the right choice staying here. But it is definitely 4 ✭✭✭✭

Room Tip: It is a vey large resort so if you are travelling with someone older, make sure you ask to be close...
