This place worked fine a base camp for touring vineyards during the day and eating dinner downtown at night. My wife and I went with another couple and the motel sufficed for what we are looking for. Rooms are on the smaller side and are nothing fancy, but we were able to walk (10-15 minutes) to the main square and enjoy a lot of wine with dinner and walk back.
There is also an indoor (in what is basically a large shed type building) pool and hot tub. The pool area was a little grimey but remembering you are not staying a Five Star hotels makes it about what you would expect.
I would stay here again over paying another $100 a night for other rooms in town when we really just showered and slept in the room.
