A beautiful lodge with adequate or better accommodations . The room and linens are comfortable . The lobby , loung and restaurants are comfortable . The premises were under major constuction renovation during my last week of Jan 2012 which caused minor inconvenience . The only dissappointment is that the indoor pool has windows permenantly missing and the Parker wearing towel girl is quite rude when questioned about this issue . The indoor pool is frezing and unusable . The rude staff member believes guests should expect this during the winter months . Otherwise , it is a comfortable lodge

Nice and comfortable hotel. Close to one of Yosemite entrances. Very close to the beautiful sequoias and about 35 miles from Yosemite Village. My husband and stayed at Tenaya for 2 nights when visiting the Park and found it a superbe choice. It is worth the stay!

Stayed in the cottages at the Tenya Lodge in mid September 2011, and was totally satisfied with our accomodations, they exceeded my expectations. The gas fireplace was a really nice feature that is not offered at most Lodges; and being from Florida we used it. We were here for two nights and wished we would have stayed a 3rd night. Yosemite is beautiful and breathtaking; you need several days to take in all this National Park has to offer, the saying America the beautiful really rings true so amazing. We ate at all three restaurants at Tenya Lodge and were empressed with all of them, and the service was exceptional. It's too bad we have long bucket list of places to go. We would return again in the future and without a doubt we would stay here.

Get the best you can get in the Yosemite area. Perfect for kids. Pricing is the same as you will get for much less in that area.
