We stayed here on our road trip from San Francisco to Las Vegas. The location is super and the overall feel to the hotel is good. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the small kitchen was useful. We enjoyed the pool facilities - the hot tub was certainly hot and a great way to unwind after a day of wonder in Yosemite. I just feel that everything was a bit shabby and with a bit of money spent on it this place would be a complete gem.

This place is fantastic! Every room has a balcony and you have a view of the Merced river. The staff is great and my favorite part is that the bathrooms are huge so you have room to clean up and relax in a huge tub after hiking at Yosemite all day! We also bought a pizza from the restaurant and it was delicious!

Excellent place to stay before your trek to Yosemite. Pay the extra and get a river view. Rooms are very nice. Ours had a jacuzzi tub and fireplace. Pizza restaurant just opened for the season and it was excellent!! Downside being off season, the restaurant only had a $13 buffet. I'm sure we only ate $5 worth.

Room tip: Room on the river in the most currently built building.

Nice detour spot to visit if your heading to Northern California. Hotel is very close to gate way to park and easily to find. Rooms are average and comfortable not 5 star but you are in a beautiful park where you wont spend much time in your room. Also rooms have kitchens available small stove ,microwave , fridge, dishes also so with limited restaurants to choose from you have option to cook what you bring. In March restaurant opens for breakfast and after 5:30 for dinner. Pizza place pretty good too.

Room tip: River view is nice but in these mountains its all good.

After a long drive from Sam Fran we were delighted to get a warm welcome at reception, which is under construction,it looks like they're doing a nice job. They had the fridges well stocked in the shop,New Zealand Sauvignon nice and cold! The rooms are a little dated but nice and big with a fridge, cooker and microwave. The balcony overlooks a lovely stream/rapids.We had fun in the small pool and hot tub.We ate in the restaurant where we had a fantastic server called Gavin. He was under severe pressure with a full restaurant including a party of about 40.All other staff members strolled around ,we tried to lighten Gavin's load by asking them for the bill etc but no joy.Anything you asked Gavin it was dealt with straight away.My sons burger was excellent and he's hard to please. The broccoli soup was also very good everything else was ok.Location is great ,fill up with gas before you get here ,there's no gas stations in the area.
