We have stayed there on many times . Great location great staff Greg is always very helpful and personable. Super close to Ocean and shops.. Only place we stay in Sandiego.

We absolutely loved the hotel! Beautiful Hawaiian feel and great location, just steps to the sand.. The service was amazing, super friendly staff... We just left and are already trying to plan another trip ASAP...

I just wanted to drop a few lines on this reviews about how impressive as a first minute we arrived umtil the last minute we departed. As we were seeking for a quality/peaceful time together with family during a holiday time (Dec.26th to Dec. 30th) we were luckily to come accross this place online in very short time searching. We were *VERY* gratefull for the offer that the staffs had given us more than we expected or the price that we paid for.
My family enjoyed every minutes/second of staying there.
One again, on behave of my family i would like to send out our gratitute for an opportunity of staying at this awesome facility and the spectacular view. We will look forward for another trip in near future again. That said, i would recomemd everyone to this place and ask for Barry the manager there he would help you in every angle of your need to make your staying with a maximun enjoyable.

I'm very much doubting Trip Advisor and these reviews. The people who rate this high must have no reference to a quality hotel. This place is a converted 1950's apartment and is not on the beach and there are no views. There is nothing luxury about it. We got there, were horrified and left. Room was musty, small and didn't even have enough seats for our party.
When I made reservation I specifically asked if we could smoke outside. The women said yes as long as slider was closed. We were supposed to be on an upper level. They put us in a room off a courtyard with no balcony and no slider. They kept telling us there was a wedding a half of the property was being used.
They not only charged us the deposit but also kept the 2nd night charge. In my opinion this is theft. Not a way to run a business. Manager is clueless and has no idea how to treat customers..
For a better deal, go a bit further south to The Tamarack which does have ocean views, light airy rooms and is less expensive. Full kitchens too.
