We went on a trip to Bhutan in November 2011. We visited Sikkim but due to recent earthquake, we couldnt visit North Sikkim and hence made plans to visit Bhutan. And it was a very wise decision. Though we stayed in Thimpu and Paro for 6N in all, this was the worst of the three hotels we stayed. We shifted out immediately after 1 Night. The rooms were small and cramped, poorly lit even during daytime. The bathroom was more brightly lit than the room itself. We complained the same to our travel agent and he passed on the message to the Hotel owners. After that, the manager and staff of the hotel were in confrontation mood indicating why we complained. The food was not great. The good part for the hotel was that it was located in Paro market, but i would trade that to better service and rooms any day.
