Disappointed upon arrival as AAA book said interior/exterior corridors--but NO interior corridors here, just the typical Residence Inn condo/apartment style outside entrances.
Room was very nice--good quiet heat, fully-stocked full kitchen, 25+ channel TV, comfortable bed, free microwave popcorn in with coffee supplies. Looked like a decent area of town. A lot of choice in free breakfast buffet including scrambled eggs and potatoes. The breakfast room was quite cold though.
Problem #1--at the end of the second morning shower (and not long ones either) there was virtually NO hot water left. Front desk just shrugged their shoulders and said "sorry".
Problem #2--when you sign in, you must sign a "no party" pledge. Well, a room not far from us had 14 people having a party and it took several different rooms to call the front desk to get it stopped. It took the manager over an hour to get everyone out of the room; she was negotiating with them instead of throwing them out after they violated their "no party" agreement. Loud screaming between patrons (not me) and the manager and the party-people. And all this happened between 11 PM and midnight, when people are trying to get to sleep.
Maybe I just caught it on a bad night, but the front desk people on all shifts were ineffective and lackadaisical, but the room itself was quite nice except for the lack of hot water.
This "no party" sheet to sign must be something that happens in Bay Area hotels as this is the second different chain that I've had to sign this "no party" sheet upon arrival within the past several months, so beware. And being over 55 I'm not looked at to be a "party animal", so everyone must sign on arrival.
