This hotel is located in Cameron Park near Hwy 50, it is an older hotel, but it is easy to be seen that there are some improvements being made. The hotel is near resturants, pharmacy, grocery stores and banks which makes it easy to get travel supplies. One advantage is the parking is in the courtyard which is surrounded by the hotel so it is easy to park within view of the room.

The last time I had been in this hotel it was under a different owner, and boy, what a difference! New Beds, new bathroom decor, all clean and shiny. Even the parking lot has had an upgrade. The pool even looks like it would be pleasant to swim in. My traveling companion used the treadmills and the laundry facility and was very happy with them. I'm glad that the accommodations in Cameron Park are getting more upscale.

Room was clean, comfortable and spacious, and onsite personnel were friendly and as helpful as they apparently could be. However, the guest information guide says that the spa is heated from 4-10 pm, and when I found it cold, the desk clerk neither knew why that might be, nor could he do anything about it. Similarly, said guide stated that breakfast included bacon and eggs. No bacon was to be found, and only hardboiled eggs. Small details, perhaps, but the devil is in the details.

I have stayed in Quality Inn & Suites in Cameron Park for more than a month. First off all the owner himself is very customer friendly and making sure that customer would be comfortable. They do have renovated facitilites such as spacious rooms with all modern aminities. I would defenitly suggest this hotel to my friends and colleques who travel to El Dorado hills and Cameron Park.
