I've stayed here twice, once about a year ago and again recently, paid a little over $100 each time. The first time I though it was ok, not great. More on the cheap motel end of the spectrum than you would expect from a Hampton Inn, and not really worth the Hampton Inn price, but you don't have a lot of options out here. This time things really seemed to have slid from last time, and I think I'll be looking elsewhere the next time I pass through. On both occasions the wireless was terribly slow -- this time I had an iPhone and just shut off wireless because 3G was so much faster. (At least there is good 3G coverage.) The usual white Hampton Inn bedcovers were stained yellow along the edges of the bed. The in room fridge was broken and someone else's food had been left in it. The old tube TV whined terribly. The faucet part of the tub, with the pull switch to divert water to the shower head, was broken which made getting the shower head to work at all very difficult. And there was a hair stuck in the soap dish. So overall I was left with the impression that the place is no longer being very well maintained or cleaned.
I'm not one to trash hotels (I usually manage to avoid bad hotels thanks to the reviews here!) -- if you look over my other reviews I think you'll see I'm fairly even handed. A year ago this place seemed ok, maybe I just got a bad room this time, but it certainly left me with the impression that a lot has changed in a year.
