We stayed here for 2 nights in April 2014 as part of our honeymoon (we travelled around parts of the USA). When we arrived to the hotel there seemed to be some sort of press event happening in the very large reception area, this was no trouble to us or other guests and we carried on to check in. We later found out that Jennifer Lopez had been there, wish we'd stayed to have a peek!
Upon arrival to our room we were greeted with a lovely bottle of champagne with a beautiful tray of delicious strawberries dipped in chocolate, with this came a lovely card saying congratulations to us on our marriage. We thought that this was a really kind and thoughtful gift and message, they didn't have to leave us anything so it made the stay feel super special. Thank you Beverly Hilton Hotel!
The hotel room was clean, modern and very well stocked with snacks and drinks (at an additional cost). The bathroom was spacious and well lit. The location of the hotel was ok, we were not used to the area and if we had stayed longer we may have explored even more, it is within easy walking distance of restaurants, rodeo drive and residential areas.
We took a taxi the next day to Universal Studios which was quite a long drive and cost around $50. If your main reason for going to LA is to go to Universal Studios then I would personally find a hotel closer to the attraction.
We spoke to the front desk several times with questions and they were very helpful and friendly. I would stay at this hotel again!!!
