The Hotel Arce is a comfortable clean and well run hotel 30 minutes walk from Baiona in the suburb of Sabaris. Rob and Annabelle were exceptionally friendly and knowlegeable hosts and the recommendations with which they provided were invaraibly excellent palces to eat or excursions. They are a recpected part of the community as was illustrated by a taxi driver one night when he said "Ah, Hotel Arce. That is a very good hotel." .We thought so too!!!.information as to the bus timetable was provided by Rob and catching the bus into Baiona (7 minutes tops) made us feel like locals, as did dining in the recommended restaurants near the hotel as they are frequented by local people and not tourists. The food was authentic and weell priced. We extendedour stay by one night and wish it could have been more. From this example we ended up choosing to stay in suburbia throughout our travels and this was a wise decision so thankyou Rob and Annabelle.

We had a very nice room, clean and silent. We got an excellent advice about a very good restaurant in walking distance to the hotel since the hotel did not serve late dinner.
A small hint to the landlord about what we wanted to add to the breakfast was delivered with a smile! Choose this hotel if you search for personal touch.

Hotel Arce is a perfect small and family run hotel. We stayed there for four days in June 2011 and would have liked to extend if possible. Extreme cleanliness and well furnitured are - together with great kindness of everybody and the nice cafeteria lots of reasons to recommend this hotel. We will come back one day!

Charming small hotel in Baiona. Great rates including free WIFI and free parking. Rooms are well appointed with LCD tvs, a desk, nice bedding, and clean bathrooms. The on-site cafeteria is very reasonably priced althought it has a limited menu. Beach is just a short drive aways and is really even within walking distance. Many nice tapas style restaurants and small grocery stores nearby. Robert & Annabelle are very friendly and fantastic hosts, they did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. Word of caution: No AC in the rooms, although the weather in Baiona is usually very mild. If you have the bad fortune of being there during a heat wave, it is possible that you will experience some discomfort in the evenings due to the lack of AC in the rooms.
