We, a family of 4 (children 8 & 11) just returned from a wonderful stay at Ca N'ai. We ended up at the Finca by coincidence, but this was such a pleasant surprise that we wanted to share this with the rest of the world. This is a family run hotel, that dates back to 1732, and that has been in the family for 14 generations. The interior of the hotel is Spanish and give you the feeling of the history and the traditions of the Finca. We got 2 suites next to each other, with a lovely double bed, nice living room and huge bathroom. The suites were situated on the estate in the middle of the orange plantation. The smell of the oranges in bloom in May together with the spices and the pine trees greeted us whenever we were outside. The food in the restaurant was exceptionally good, with a special menu that fitted the children. The breakfast buffet, were huge, and we ate more than we good for us - every morning! We especially enjoyed that the products produced on the Finca were organic, which made the fresh orange juice that was so wonderful taste even better. The service in the restaurant, reception and hotel were among the friendliest and kindest that we have ever experienced, as special thank you to Sebastian. The pool was unheated, and slightly cold this time of year (May) but we are sure that this is not an issue during the summer. Port de Sollér is just a little drive away, and we enjoyed a stroll at the harbor, but must admit that we enjoyed the hotel situated in the valley much more. Do not forget to bring good shoes for a hike in the mountains. Visit the hotel website incl movie for more information. We only wish to rewind the tape and press play again.
