This hotel was perfect as a cycling base for myself and two friends.
We were even provided with a ground floor room to keep our bikes safe and sound for no extra cost.
Our second floor rooms were quite adequate.
Outside areas to the front and side were pleasant and nicely planted, we enjoyed many a welcome drink and swim after a hard days cycling.
My preference would be a room above the ground floor for privacy and a balcony

This hotel is only rated 2*, however I believe it deserves more. It is a small, friendly, family run establishment. The accommodation is basic, but spotless! The room we had contained a large wardrobe, two single beds, 2 beside cabinets, 2 chairs and a large mirror. The bathroom had a good shower, toilet and wash-hand basin. And we had a large balcony, with a table and two chairs.

We where there for a week and our room was cleaned everyday and towels were replaced each day as well. Breakfast was cold. Choices of cereals, breads and juices, cheese, ham or pate were available as well as tea and coffee. You can hire bikes and cars from the hotel and book excursions. The pool area was small, with about 20 sun loungers; it is a sun trap in the afternoon. The hotel is situated only about 200m from the beach and it is a short walk into Puerto Pollensa town, with its abundance of restaurants and souvenir shops!

We had booked to stay in the Panorama Beach for three nights (from 18th April 2007) but left after only one night. It is not a 3 star hotel as stated in adverts. A fusty smell greeted us when we went into our room. The beds were terrible - you could feel the springs through the non-existent padding (must have been very old). Although the night was cold my husband refused to use the filthy blankets provided. There was a half used soap in the soap tray (other guests stated that they didn't get soap provided). To sit on the loo you had
to have one foot in the base of the shower about 6 inches lower. Taps
dripped.

Although we lost money by leaving (the staff did offer to move us to one of the apartments but by then we had lost faith in the hotel) we did feel more fortunate than fellow guests who had booked for 14 nights half-board and were patently uphappy. They said the evening meal was very basic. We had the breakfast and it was just adequate.

This is a 3 star family run hotel in a lovely location, 30 yards from the beauful beach and waterfront.
The rooms are basic as is the bathroom, but spotlessly clean with excellent daily maid service.
Lovely balcony to each room with fab views and lovely sunsets over the sea.
The bar and pool are very well managed, open long hours and spotlessly clean. The gardens and patio area likewise.
The only downside is the food, which although plentiful and self service at breakfast and dinner , is rather disappointing. The snack menu is great, and can be eaten aywhere on the site.
The owners will arrange car hire, bike hire, bus timetable, recommend areas to visit and even have a library to select books and magazines from.
They keep the Cava in the kitchen, not the bar area, so ask for it. At £4.00 per bottle it is a bargain
For a small hotel with a great relaxed and friendly atmosphere, entertainment most evenings and within walking distance of some great restaurants this takes some beating.
