We stayed at the Hotel Eden in 2011 for a week durin the height of the summer. The hotel was clean and the staff were very welcoming. Although the room was small we did have a view of the sea. It is worth paying the extra money for a sea view as the sunset over the bay is stunning.
The facilities are nothing to shout about. The pool is small and the competition for a lounger is brutal. There was a daily rush to get a towel on a chair although the staff did try to prevent people from reserving chairs in this way. However the sea is less than 30 seconds away from the pool so if you want a swim then the clean waters of the bay are lovely and refreshing.
We stayed on a half board basis and we happy enough with breakfast but the evening meal was below average. There are so many great places to eat in Soller that I would advise against this option. Bed and Breakfast will be fine but if you want to sample the best of Spanish cuisine this isn't the place to do it.
The majority of guests are either German, French or Scandinavian with the odd Brit here and there. The town has a great European feel and everyone is friendly.
Bus connections to Palma are easy and we travelled from the airport to Soller by Bus which was much cheaper than a taxi and took no more than an hour.
In all a relaxing holiday in a great location.
