Quite a surprise for us - first time in Mallorca. Really quiet end of the bay, with the best bit of beach in front of the hotel. This meant we could have breakfast and other meals outside the front of the hotel overlooking the beach and bay - admittedly before the sun made its way round from the back of the hotel! A couple of PC's for internet access (paying), free WiFi in reception/ foyer area. Comfortable lounge area and bar.
We had an apartment which proved spacious and sufficiently appointed. Not luxurious, but did the job and had 2 balconies "facing the hills" ie car parks with hills in the distance. The back of the hotel faces sunwards most of the day, which was good for us. Frustrating to have a TV with only one English channel. Made worse by the fact that it had blanket coverage of the Michael Jackson trial!
Really helpful staff. Good service. Breakfast plentiful but nothing to look forward to. We had dinner twice, which was fair value and reasonable quality.
Great range of activities in the area. Walking, climbing, bike shop hiring quality MTB and road bikes. Lake District (England) size hills, but limestone for a range of challenges. Would plan to stop here again when going back to walk the GR221 which goes up through the Tramontana mountains.
