Our party of 8 adults flew from various destinations and met up at our villa in between old pollensa and about a 3 minute drive from porto pollensa beachfront.
Car came with villa and we'd upgraded to a bigger VW for a small amount. The car was waiting at the designated spot in airport carpark with full details on how to find villa.
Villa Suau Gran was fantastic with a fabulous pool and barbecue house, complete with BBQ, stove top, sink, table and chairs and it's own shower and toilet. We booked villa with sealand villas and had no problems at all. I booked everything from Australia on the internet, but had correspondence sent to my parents in UK, as final details arrived 2 weeks before departure.
The villa was very comfortable and well equipped. It was great to spend the day at the beach or sightseeing, then come home to our own bit of private and quiet paradise.
This was the first time I'd booked a villa in Spain and it was fantastic for our extended family group. We didn't want the regular package tour, along with loads of other english tourists, and this really fit the bill.
We were there from 6th - 13th October and I can highly recommend the markets on Sundays in old Pollensa, about 3 minutes drive, as is Porto Pollensa. Great Olives, fresh baguettes and proscuitto ham carved fresh off the bone, just right for a lazy lunch by the pool. The weather was mid 20's and sunny for the first half of the week, but showery the second half, but as we had a car, we went sightseeing around the island. 4 of our party hired another car at the airport. The island is so small that you can be in Palma in 50 minutes and that's the farthest to travel, but it's just fun to meander along the country lanes exploring small villages.
An experience to remember and one we all wish to repeat.
