Rooms: Room was dull in decor, balcony:only a railing seperating you from balcony next door so no privacy , one would feel uncomfortabe if there was a couple sitting out as you woudl be on top of them.Bed was good size and very comfortable, bathroom was well equipped. No mini bar ,no tea or coffe making facilities, five euro for a bucket of ice to be delivered.!!
Spa: Nothing special here,Staffed by quite young and not overly well trained staff.Left waiting for six minutes to get settled on treatment bed!! all I had to do was take a dressing gown off!! and treatment finished five minutes early ,a bit rich when charged €120.00 for hot stone massage lasting 55 minutes!! and then asked to sign invoice with gratuity optional!! Nothing special at all about spa in general, small pool, tiny jacuzzi, have had much better massages in less expensive places.Very poor value for money.
Food; Dinner was very disappointing though service was excellent and waiting staff very nice.Food and wine five star prices but not five star standard.Breakfast was excellent, very good selection probably the best part of our stay.
Overall will not be returning ,poor value for money, staff in spa too inexpierenced, and not well trained.Small things like charging for ice and no kettle in room made to feel like they were trying to extract money from you at every opportunity.Much better value and service to be had in other spas,Brooklodge,Lyrath etc.
