hotel is 3minutes to go from the old town of Nafplio; parking in front of hotel. Stylish lobby, rooms are simple but ok and clean. If u look for an affordable place close to the wonderful old town, this would be a good choice. breakfast was nothing special anyway, so go to one of the beautiful cafes downtown where u have a great choice.

I had booked hotel considering it was the least priced hotel in Nafplio. I had some reservations reading the reviews about prison style rooms.

I arrived in Nafplio via the train and this hotel was a 5 minute walk away, which was easy despite my heavy suitcase. The street leading to it is a bit rundown but the hotel itself was quite decent. I walked into a huge reception area with a tv and sofas. My room was on the second floor and although the corridor was a bit narrow which explains the prison comment, the room was neat and comfortable with a small but clean bathroom. From my window I could see the Palamidi Fortress and the garden that lies at the foot of the hills.

It lies between the old town and new town and is close to both the bus and train. I would suggest this hotel since in a charming town like Nafplio you'd spend your day exploring the town so why pay atleast 30% more for better decor?

I had a 5:50 am train to catch and I walked with my suitacse to the train station easily from this hotel. There was nightlife so I felt safe.

This is almost the only hotel in all of Greece that I felt was really terrible. Because of a booking mistake, the hotel I had booked was full, and as it was New Year's Eve, this was the only hotel in Nafplio that had rooms. It was immediately obvious why: long narrow dimly lit corridors leading to cell-like rooms (large, but still cell-like) with awful bathrooms with chipped paint and old fixtures. The beds were uncomfortable and the whole place felt terribly oppressive. I couldn't wait to leave, and only stayed one night. There are so many better places to stay in Nafplio so don't stay here.

The hotel is in the center of Nafplio, close to everything. It is very quiet and clean. Rooms are not very big, but they are functional. The bathroom is very good in comparison with most hotels in Greece.
Breakfast is not out of this world, but it is quite good.
In the end, it is very good value for money.
However, it has LAN internet, which makes connections easier and faster if you have your own laptop (and of course it is free).
Service is good enough but not outstanding.
