Johannesburg is a bit scary if you don't know where to go! The Zulu Nyala Country Manor took care of everything -- smoothly and easily. The rooms, dining and sightseeing were all excellent. Bella and Trevor were excellent hosts. We enjoyed seeing the sights with Patrick, our private tour guide, all around Pretoria, Johannesburg & loved SOWETO + the Cradle of Mankind, etc. We recommend this unique and comforting place to stay -- they aim to please!

I had an amazing and educational stay at the Country Manor !! The staff was so friendly and accommodating. We took excursions and were pampered all along !
The rooms were large and beautiful. The grounds are beautiful with plants and flowers, and the animals made it feel like you were out in the country !! Just a great, relaxing time all around !! Loved it !!

We stayed at the Country Manor Inn before and after our trip to Zulu Nyala Game Lodge. It is a beautiful place. It has been going through some renovation. They are just finishing a convention center. The landscaping is beautiful. There are a few animals there and 4 zebras that like to graze on the grounds. We loved our rooms. They were large and very roomy. The decor was great. The food was good. If you are a dog lover, the owner has quite a few dogs that tour the property with her. We had warm, friendly service from the staff. Our driver's name was Sipho and he drove us to and from Zulu Nyala Game Lodge. He also took us on a tour of Johannesberg. We saw the Apartheid Museum which is something everybody should go see. He also took us to see the new stadium. He is a great driver. The whole trip was amazing!!!

I just returned from my vacation in South Africa where I had the opportunity to stay at one of the most relaxing and enjoyable resorts. The country manor staff was amazing, from the time they greet you at the airport, to the pleasurable transfer to the property to the meals they serve through to the checkout process. I can't say enough great things about my experience. The staff goes well beyond the call of duty. I highly suggest to anyone traveling in the Joberg area to stay at the country manor. You will be treated like family there and not like just a number you find at most hotels. The owners of the property have created such a relaxing enirnoment arund the property you have no choice but to feel relaxed and at home. I will miss everyone who made my stay so enjoyable especailly the stable girl Bella. She made the trip so enjoyable.
