Do not believe the negative about this inn---location is central to all amenities, safe, clean, friendly, and quiet in a busy location. Fantastic service---staff gives 110% and one of the most enjoyable stays in the past 5 years. Is worth DOUBLE the price we paid!

6-20-2010: The LaQuinta staff could not provide directions to LaQuinta from the airport. I had to pull over to the nearest Comfort Inn where the Comfort Inn staff Map Quest it for me and provided the printout.

06-21-2010: I requested a refrigerator microwave (combo) replacement; nine hours later it was replaced. Bed sheets were not changed. Bathroom was not cleaned properly. Pool water looked strange.

6-22-2010: I requested an ironing board replacement; three hours later it was replaced. Bed sheets were not changed. Bathroom was not cleaned properly. (I looked at the same dead bug for three nights.) Pool water looked strange.

6-23-2010: Bed sheets were not changed. Bathroom was not cleaned properly. Pool water looked strange. Cock Roach in room. Mice were running around outside. I Could not change hotels at this point everywhere was booked up due to the major event, the Worlds Tae kwon DoTournament.

6-24-2010 Bed sheets were not changed. Bathroom was not cleaned properly. Pool water looked strange. Mice were running around outside. After our pool party, one of our guest (child) came up with a huge infection, most likely from the pool, and had to go to the hospital.

6-25-2010 Bed sheets were not changed. Bathroom was not cleaned properly. (The bug was gone, but floor wasn’t mopped/disinfected.) Pool was closed. Prostitutes occupied two of the rooms on my floor (1st floor) and were outside in the parking lot smoking cigarettes within 15’ of children, both are illegal in Little Rock, AR! The prostitutes, along with their John’s (customers) watched as our children practiced Tae kwon Do in the parking lot! They didn’t have the decency to leave, go in their rooms, not be so obvious!

6-26-2010 Bed sheets were not changed. Bathroom was not cleaned properly. Pool was closed (103 degress outside with 117 index) . We spent the evening at a friends who wisely chose a different hotel, in order to get a break from Laquinta!

6-27-2010 Bed sheets were not changed. Bathroom was not cleaned properly. Pool was closed. did an early check out and complaint at the front desk.

6-28-2010 Bed sheets were not changed. Bathroom was not cleaned properly. Pool was closed. left very early, 5:00 a.m.

The rooms were never sufficiently cleaned. There was mold, dust and major issues of cleanliness! The bathroom was not disinfected ever! I could not wait to go home! It was the worst hotel experience I have ever had! If I had known what I know now, for twice the money I could and would have, gotten a much better place if I’d made the reservations at the same time I reserved my spot at LaQuinta. The speed at which they fulfilled the request made to the staff was unsatisfactory! After complaining, I was refunded for three days, this was no consolation! I should have been refunded for most of my stay if not ALL of it! It was totally unacceptable living conditions for anyone and the prostitution made it unsafe for adults, let alone children!

Laquinta has been sent all of this information and promised to get back to me within three business days. This is business day number four and nothing! I will never stay at a Laquinta Inn and will tell anyone who will listen about the horrible time at this particular Laquinta location. It was the worst!!!!!

First of all, I arrived in Little Rock from Texas at 12: 30 a.m. My friend recommended that I stay at this hotel because they are usually nice. I went in and asked the receptionist if there were any rooms available and she rudely replied " yeah, but I ain't selling a room until 1:30 a.m." She didn't even greet me when I entered the lobby of the hotel. So, I stated okay, and looked around in the lobby and noticed that one of the guest was looking at the receptionist with a confused look as to why wouldn't I be able to get a room. So, I left and called my friend who I was coming to visit. I drove out of the parking lot and went to look for a room somewhere else, and I told him about the situation. I met up with him, and gave him the money to come back to your hotel to purchase the room and she immediately allowed him to purchase the room. I arrived on April 30 and stayed until May 2, 2010. During my stay, my room wasn't cleaned, and a rat was in my room. I sent my friend up to the front office to show the receptionist on saturday the picture of the rat in the room and she wouldn't give us another room or refund the money. It was terrible. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here unless it was a last resort. I only stayed because my friend said it would be nice, but it wasn't and the only nice person working there was the security guard.

On the plus side, the staff was very friendly and the location is great--just of an expressway and about 10 min (non-rush hour) from downtown Little Rock. I cannot understand a previous reviewers comment that this is a dubious area (unless he was thinking of the Hooters next door). The rooms are spacious and comfortable. On the downside, (1) on one day, my room was not made up (2) the toilet in my original room never was properly fixed desipite my asking two times (it finally backed up all over the bathroom floor and I was transferred to another room) (3) the pool, which was closed, looked thoroughly nasty and (4) the property does share its parking lot with the aforementioned Hooters (Although I was never conscious of excessive noise from it). However, since items (1) and (2) may have been aberrations (I certainly hope so!), I would rate this property as above.
