My family and I drove in from Memphis for a reunion and spotted the Laquinta as we came up to the local mall. The front desk staff had a less that desireable attitude and the room cleanliness was at best, acceptable. The entire trip was worth it just to watch hundreds of motorcycles next door at the local Hooters establishment. I can honestly say I have never seen anything like it. If you love motorcycles, you MUST make this place a stop on your trip planner!

We stayed just one night and it was very adequate for our purpose. It was clean and quiet and in a good location. The room was small compared to other La Quintas we have stayed in and the mattress was a bit soft.

I checked in at around 8 pm with a cranky two year old. In the first room, the faucet in the tub would not turn off. The key would not open the second door and I had to get another key for the third room. The next day, I went out and found later that the room wasn't cleaned. I was told by the front desk clerk that housekeeping never showed up. For the next three days, housekeeping never cleaned my room. My husband and I had to take out of the trash ourselves. Every night I had to go to the front desk to ask for towels. One day, housekeeping came to take out the trash and said she would return to clean the room. She never returned. The only time my room was cleaned was the day prior to check out. Out of seven nights of staying there, my room was cleaned only once. I was refunded for one night stay and was given the number to the housekeeping manager. I'm definitely going to follow up on this. I do not recommend this establishment for more than a one night stay.

Do not believe the negative about this inn---location is central to all amenities, safe, clean, friendly, and quiet in a busy location. Fantastic service---staff gives 110% and one of the most enjoyable stays in the past 5 years. Is worth DOUBLE the price we paid!
