The Searc y Holiday Inn Express is a great hotel that offers everything you'd expect in this chain. Their breakfast is very good, with everything from biscuits and gravy to sausage and biscuits (depending on the day), as well as the famous Holiday Inn Express cinnamon rolls. The business center with free computer access -- with free wireless throughout the hotel -- is convenient. Each room has a small refrigerator and a microwave. The amenities are Holiday Inn's new Simply Smart brand, with nice curved shower rods and curtains, and plenty of towels. The beds are comfortable and the AC is unusually good, able to maintain "cool" without always getting cold; it's also fairly quiet. Next door are the Western Sizzlin' and Rib Crib, both nice places to eat, and there are lots of other restaurants within walking distance up and down Race Street. (For those visiting Harding University, this hotel is convenient and very Bison-friendly.)

This hotel is awesome!! Everyone from the front desk, to the maids, to the mantainence man were very friendly. The room was really nice sized. The furnishing were very nice, and included a sofa, coffee table, desk, refrigerator and microwave. The bed was wonderful!! A pillowtop mattress with a microfiber comforter, and plenty of great pillows. The air conditoner is thermostat controlled, so the room was stayed really comfortable, even though it was very hot and humid outside. We did not make it to the hot breakfast in the morning. We slept in, since the beds were so awesome!! The pool area is very nice. The pool itself is kind of small, not very deep, and was a little colder than I like. The only thing missing was a jacuzzi. We would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. There are many restaurants close by, and it has very easy access to the interstate. I thought the $90.00 rate was a little steep, when I made the reservation, but the comfort and luxury was well worth it.

We arrived earlier than expected, but a room was ready for us. The hotel was very easy to find and we could walk to many surrounding shops and places to eat - but remember that White is a dry county. We had a swim in the indoor pool, which was spotless, with plenty of poolside chairs and towels. The room was very good and had a refrigerator.
