“Charming hotel”

I stayed in this hotel while with a group and was pleasantly surprised with the rooms. I can't speak of 'value for money' as this hotel was part of my group tour but the rooms were clean and I really liked how they had been decorated with local crafts. There is a small town close by; unfortunately we were there during a holiday so not much was open but it was within walking distance. The breakfast in the hotel was average. There was free wi-fi in the lobby of the hotel and a place across the street that did laundry.

“Hotel with a nice athmosphere in a small village, close to the golde triangle”

With our group we stayed two nights in Chiang Saen. It is a small village, and all is within walking distance from the hotel.
The rooms are clean, have all needed. The hotel and the rooms have nice decorations, mostly local handicraft, and gave a nice athmosphere. Opposite is a small village and market. The main street is 10 minutes walking, and so is the river. Lots of ruins from old temples, and the city wall.
Breakfast is buffet, or to order, and brought fast. Small choice of dishes, but adequate.
