This small hostel deserves the good reviews here for its relaxed ambience, lovely outdoor yard/patio and good breakfast (unusual for Argentina). The staff create a friendly and sociable atmosphere, very conducive to an extended stay here. We stayed in early December in the hot and humid weather, but the courtyard rooms are well shaded and a pleasant temperature for lounging and sleeping in. Most of the courtyard is also covered and cool enough to sit in the heat of the mid day sun. Definitely recommended to explore this beautiful area and drink the excellent local wine !

We were completely blown away with the quality of this place. It's only a few mins walk to main plaza on a quite street. It has many common areas inside and out. The backyard with vineyards is a great place just to sit back and enjoy. Plenty of room for everyone. Room was really nicely done with a double bed, one massive pillow for 2, and a good sized bathroom with hot water (not that we needed it as Cafayate is very hot atm). Pablo and the staff are really friendly and welcoming. They have an asado most nights for 35pp which is good value considering its all you can eat and drink. We got it a little cheaper than their website by booking on hostelbookers.com. Stay here!

We stayed 3 nights and it was a really nice place to relax for a few days. The rooms are pleasant,the backyard is a fantastic place to spend an afternoon or evening, the staff a very friendly and it is a great place to meet fellow travellers. The bbq they run is awesome and the wifi works well throughout the hostel.

I had an awesome time at Rusty-K. If you decide to stay here, make sure your ticket out of Cafayate isn't booked yet because the charm of this hostel and the people who run it is irresistable. Make sure you don't miss Jen's mate classes! Worth every peso! :D
